In-person early voting begins Thursday, November 17 and continues through Saturday, November 2 across North Carolina.  Local 391 President Mike McGaha encourages all Teamsters and their families to cast a ballot during early voting or on Election Day, which is November 5.  

"We are providing a list of recommended candidates Local 391 believes is best for workers and their families," said McGaha.  "While Local 391 believes these are the best slate of candidates from a worker perspective, we respect the election choices of our members.  Our only request is that all Union members vote, regardless of who they vote for."  

A few election/voting reminders:

Voters do not have to vote at a specific precinct until Election Day.  In other words, find an early polling station in the county in which you reside.  

Voters can register to vote, including change their registration, if they early vote (Oct 17-Nov 2).  If you are waiting to vote on November 5, you must be pre-registered.  

One thing that North Carolina voters need to keep in mind is that everyone must show a photo ID when coming to vote.
